Delivery Policy

Our Delivery Goals:

1. To save you time and money
2. To make it easier for you purchase from us
3. To extend our store right to your receiving dock

1. We'll deliver with our truck up to 6 miles from the store, as determined by the distance calculated by our web site. Deliveries over 6 miles from our store will normally be shipped UPS freight collect.
   
   To check the delivery distance from our store to your location, see the Yahoo! Yellow Pages Interactive Map and Driving Directions. Follow the link at the page bottom to Driving Directions and type in the delivery address to calculate the miles.
   
   
2. Orders totaling $100 or more, net of taxes, fees, and special charges, will have NO delivery charge, except for a $6 fuel surcharge that has gone into effect with the higher fuel prices in 2006.
   
   
3. Orders for less than $100 (net) will be charged a $16.00 fee, $10 delivery fee plus $6 fuel surcharge to allow us to recover the cost of the delivery.
   
   
4. Delivery service is available Monday through Friday.
   
   
5. We do not make COD deliveries.
   
   
6. Our delivery service is not a Hot Shot service. If you need this, we have contracted with a local delivery service and we can arrange it for you for an additional delivery fee.
   
   
7. For deliveries of substantial weight, such as pallets of cement or bundles of lumber, we highly recommend a forklift. If you don't have a forklift, hand unloading charges are:
   
   $0.75 per bag on any bagged products (such as cement, sand, fertilizer, etc.)
   
   $0.25 per board or sheet good (such as plywood, drywall, pegboard, etc.)
   
   
8. All home deliveries are curbside. The maximum carry distance from the vehicle is 20 feet.
   
   
9. Pallet charges of $10.00 per pallet will apply on palletized deliveries. Pallets may be returned for credit if they are in first class condition, subject to our inspection and approval. This is a pass-through cost, as our manufacturers also charge us $10 per pallet.
   
   
10. We don't deliver concrete steps.
    
    
11. Deliveries of "sale" or other promotional merchandise may carry a delivery charge.
    
    
12. You or your authorized agent must accept all deliveries in person. If the truck shows up and no one is there to receive the delivery, the merchandise will be returned to the store. Any redelivery will cost $10.

2. Scheduling is normally first-ordered, first delivered.
   
   
3. We will deliver your order as soon as we possibly can within the guidelines listed above.
   
   
4. We will attempt to deliver orders received by 11:00 am on the same day that they are placed.
   
   
5. Our drivers will be uniformed, professional, courteous and respectful.
   
   
6. We will attempt to earn your repeat business every time we serve you.
